Senior Warehouse & Logistics Manager

An exciting opportunity to drive large-scale growth initiatives with a well established FMCG organization in the U.A.E.
As the Senior Warehouse & Logistics Manager, you would be responsible for 360 warehouse and logistics operations driving world class supply chain initiatives assuring quality products delivered within set time frames with a major focus on cost reduction.

• Leading & managing all aspects of Distribution Centre/Warehouse operations including strategic planning and its execution.
• Providing effective management of Warehousing, Logistics and Customer Services activities to ensure high quality delivery of services to business units across the region.
• Overseeing all aspects of the Distribution Centre operations and effectively managing inbound & outbound operations.
• Managing 3PL Partners, reviewing their performance and auditing the implementation of HSE, Quality & Hygiene standards as per agreed terms. Arranging trainings for 3PL staff & conduct meetings to reduce communication gap & fast implementations of new standards.
• Implementing new KPI’s to track warehouse and logistics performance and take action accordingly.
• Work closely with vendors and improve operational efficiencies & reduce redundant cost.
• Manage warehouses network consisting of internal and 3PL across all SKU’s.
• Coordinate a diverse fleet of frozen, chilled and dry delivery vehicles, overseeing repair and maintenance in addition to managing 3PL vehicles, oversee repairs and maintenance, deliver products to market through effective route planning and cost optimization.
• Identifying and preparing future warehousing and transportation needs and designs for the region, based on target growth rate, expansion, customer demands and facility end-of-lease.
• Develop a close working relationship with Customer Order Planner, Demand & Supply Planner and Sales Team resulted in improvement in operational efficiencies.
• Conduct trainings for warehouse staff on good warehouse practices, safety, operational efficiencies, cost saving and team building.

Candidate Overview:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
• You must have a minimum of 7 years experience managing overall warehouse and transport operations for multiple locations within GCC.
• Strong experience managing within a multicultural environment.
• Strong proficiency in English.
